I’m a hobby photographer from Germany who loves exploring photography in all its many facets. In February 2021, I started a daily photo project that I’ve kept up ever since. It has greatly changed the way I see everyday life and my surroundings and allows me to move through the world much more attentively.
At the end of 2022, I discovered film photography and fell down a new rabbit hole. A year later, I got into pinhole photography - opening yet another door. It all feels like a huge playground and an ongoing journey I’m only just beginning to explore.
My other, earlier passion is music. Together with my husband, I am active in the Irish traditional music scene in Germany. While photography helps me slow down and find calm, playing music is a much more social experience for me, driven by playing and connecting with others. Sometimes these two passions come together, as I enjoy photographing musicians at the many sessions we attend throughout the year.
